Working Conditions Decree
The Working Conditions Decree (or Working Conditions Decree for short) is part of the Dutch working conditions legislation . The Working Conditions Decree contains concrete rules, classified by subject. The regulations are formulated in general terms. They indicate what result the health and safety policy should have, but do not impose a binding obligation on how that result must be achieved.

The Working Conditions Decree applies to the government , it business and all employees . There are separate rules for education, government, transport, judicial institutions, defence, juveniles, pregnant women and homeworkers.

The Working Conditions Decree lays down rules on, for example, occupational health and safety, organization of work, organization of workplaces, Hazardous Substances and personal protective equipment .
